Hey! How was your Christmas? We had a blast together and made some memories that will last a lifetime. As we come up on the end of the year I am reflecting on everything that has happened. I started looking back at old pictures and I realize that I have forgotten some things and I realize that our story is wrapped up in pictures. I decided to pick a picture from each month that highlights something great and share it with you. If a pictures is worth 1,000 words then here is 12,000 words!
2013 Year in Pictures
Ah, the day we moved in! I will never forget when my son said this house was so much smaller than our old one! This is when the adventure began…
Our first big NYC snow! We got like 14 inches and this was our attempt at our snow man!
We don’t get to take as many date nights as we would like, but this was one we went on together at Chelsea Market. I just love this picture of us.
My son turned 4 this year and he asked us to take him to The Natural History Museum. He loves dinosaurs and enjoyed getting so close to the fossils.
Another picture of us? Yes! This picture was taken by my parents at Rockefeller Center. My wife looks amazing in this picture!
My favorite place in the entire city is Central Park. We spent almost every weekend in the spring, summer, and fall here going on picnics, playing, and exploring. This is one of the many cool things we found.
My baby Mia turned 1! Mia has had her share of challenges so her first birthday was a great milestone.
The Bronx Zoo! This place is huge. One of my friends told me that we couldn’t do the zoo in a day…well we gave it our best shot and came as close as anybody. We definitely wore ourselves out!
What I fear came…I turned 30!
One of our photography friends from Charlotte, NC came up to take some pictures of us. It was hard to pick one form 300+, but I liked this one.
This year had so many incredible “dream come true” moments, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is high on my list. We got to sit in the grandstands at the start of the parade, and it was so much fun. If I had to pick one of my favorite moments of this year, this experience is very high on the list.
One of the greatest Christmas seasons I’ve ever had. I’m still on cloud 9. The best part is the time I’m spending with my family. Here is a picture of us around the Rockefeller Center with a million tourist.
